In this workshop, you will learn how to intentionally design a social impact business. We define social impact business as a venture that makes a healthy profit and provides a sustainable living, while also doing good in the world.
Within the span of 3 hours, you will:
explore multiple business models and choose one
integrate positive psychology within your organization
learn the path from business model to revenue stream
create a plan to scale, and
walk away with an initial prototype.

Sherri Fisher, MAPP, MEd, coach, educator, speaker and writer, empowers bright students of all ages who have learning and performance challenges to unleash their potential. In her international private practice, she provides personalized success strategies to students who struggle with learning, attention, and organization issues. Using tools curated from Positive Psychology, they learn how to magnify and leverage their strengths and identify their success patterns, to grow both academically and emotionally: at school, at home, and in their careers. Sherri enjoys life-long relationships with clients from six continents. Her most recent book, Unleash Your Epic Self: The Guide to Crushing it At School, Work and Life incorporates the most powerful personal change research and activities from Positive Psychology science into a guided journal/workbook. Sherri is a founding collaborator and coach in Maroondah, VICs, Communities of Wellbeing project, an initiative at the nexus of education, business, government, and social services. A graduate of the first UPenn Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) class, Sherri is privileged to have learned and trained with the top researchers and practitioners in the field.
Carlton Galbreath, MAPP, is an entrepreneur, a growth (sales, marketing, and strategy) consultant, and the CEO of a virtual incubator program that focuses specifically on positive psychology ventures. His professional background is a mix of sales and finance. Carlton has been in various sales roles since he was 14. His formal education is comprised of an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Finance from Gonzaga University and a MAPP degree from Penn. He’s held roles at Boeing’s Defence Space and Security department in finance, at Table au Software (a data visualization and analytics company) in small business and enterprise sales, and then at HubSpot (a digital marketing software company) in enterprise sales. After gaining valuable knowledge and best practices from these world-class organizations, he decided to double down on helping others with that knowledge through growth consulting and positive psychology business incubation.
