Volunteering at WCPP
We’re excited to announce volunteer applications are now open for the 6th World Congress on Positive Psychology. If you’d like to be a part of this exciting event and are available to participate between July 18- 21, 2019 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre we’d love to hear from you.
The theme of 6th World Congress on Positive Psychology is “Nexus”- meaning connection. The congress will build connections, collaborations and pathways that can help us work together to enhance human flourishing. Volunteering at WCPP 2019 will allow you to connect and network with a range of different people; peers, organizers and delegates. In order to make this congress a success, we will need your support with a variety of tasks including monitoring sessions, assisting with wayfinding, helping in the exhibition hall, escorting Plenary speakers and Key Note Speakers from the speaker room to the stage; ensuring podium session and other sessions run in a timely manner and much more. We look forward to your application and would like to thank you in advance for your support!
You will be asked to attend the session assigned to you and will furthermore be asked to check in with the conference organizers on a daily basis at (7:30 am, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre) to check your assignments. You will need to commit to at least one full day of volunteering which may include evenings. You will be placed where help is required and you show commitment to completing your assigned volunteer tasks. Volunteers must be current IPPA Members.
Volunteers will receive:
Snack and coffee at the Volunteer morning briefing onsite at the Congress

Name listed on the Congress website
Complimentary 1 Day Congress registration for the day they’re volunteering
Volunteers will be called up on stage in the final presentation of the conference
