It is my great pleasure to invite you to Istanbul, Türkiye, for the 10th World Congress on Positive Psychology, taking place July 7–10, 2027. Our Congress theme, Where Cultures Meet, Humanity Flourishes, reflects our shared commitment to advancing a truly global understanding of human flourishing.
Together, we will explore the future of flourishing across cultures, communities, institutions, and societies. Bringing together researchers, practitioners, educators, healthcare professionals, policymakers, organizational leaders, students, and innovators from around the world, the Congress will serve as a vibrant forum for learning, collaboration, and discovery in an increasingly interconnected world.
Through keynote lectures, scientific presentations, interdisciplinary panels, workshops, and cultural experiences, participants will engage with emerging advances in flourishing science, strengths-based health and wellbeing, education, work, technology, public policy, human connection, meaning, wisdom, and the cultural dimensions of thriving in a rapidly changing world.
With the generous support of our sponsoring universities, we are committed to expanding global participation. We anticipate offering financial support to delegates from the Global South and to students from around the world whose abstracts have been accepted for presentation. Additional details will be announced in the coming months.
This Congress also marks two historic milestones: the 20th Anniversary of IPPA and the first IPPA World Congress ever hosted outside North America and Australia. There is perhaps no more fitting location than Istanbul — a city that has connected continents, cultures, and civilizations for centuries.
