Emerging Topics in Positive Psychological Interventions

Professor Judy Moskowitz is a Professor of Medical Social Sciences and Director of Research at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Northwestern University.  Trained as a social psychologist, for the past 20 years she has conducted research on the adaptive role  of positive emotion in the context of significant illness or other life stress. Her current research is focused on interventions that target positive emotion and effects on beneficial health behaviors (such as engagement in care, adherence, diet and physical activity) and prevention of maladaptive health behaviors (such as substance abuse.)
