Science is the backbone of positive psychology. The goal of this pre-congress workshop is to hear about and share innovative research in the field of positive psychology. Presentations will feature the latest methodology, findings, and theory, while the programming allows for opportunity to build your network and collaborations. The day is intended for anyone engaged in the science of positive psychology – from students to seasoned professionals.

New and established scholars are encouraged to submit their latest research findings in poster or flash talk formats for presentation, which can take the form of a poster or 5-minute flash talk.  The event will close with a keynote address by Dr. Nancy Sin, a leading expert in positive psychology, who will be speaking about new insights gleaned from the use of ecological methods to examine well-being in daily life.

Join us in a day dedicated to promoting the scientific basis of positive psychology!

Call for posters and flash talks

Are you a researcher examining happiness and well-being? If so, we invite you to join us and share your research at Science Day for Scientists, a pre-congress day at the upcoming International Positive Psychology Association meeting in Vancouver, Canada on July 20th, 2023.

The one-day event will include opportunities for new and established scholars to share their latest findings through poster sessions and flash talk presentations. Posters provide a visual representation of your work, allowing you to showcase your findings in a way that is both engaging and interactive. Flash talks are short, maximum of 5 minutes, presentations that allow you to quickly share your findings with the audience.

If you would like to present, please send submissions via the button across by 15 May, 2023.
